Nate is a San Francisco based artist and photographer who graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in two disciplines: Law & Society and Philosophy. He is passionate about fighting displacement and preserving culture in gentrifying areas. As a San Francisco native, his personal work revolves around documenting everyday life as he sees it in his rapidly changing hometown through street photography, portraiture, and cityscape photography. He shoots black and white 35mm film and develops negatives in his darkroom. In his spare time, you may see him playing basketball or strolling aimlessly around the city with his camera.
